The weather was pretty hot for this race but I try to do this race each year to support our fallen officers. I definitely felt sluggish but still managed to pull off first place in the 60-69 age group.

Hot weather for running, but luckily Jeanne and I finished early enough to beat the real high temperatures. She ran the 5k and I ran the half marathon and we both won our age groups. On to the next race, whatever that is! And those medals! HUGE!

First of all, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. I hope you’re able to spend quality time with your family today! The weather was a bit warm today for the 1 mile, 5k and 10k races. My legs were a bit sluggish and I definitely didn’t run an “A” race, but it was good enough to finish second in my age group.
