Resolution Time!

Ring in the new year with a solid running plan. Be specific when you select your goal for 2020. Make it achievable and break it down into smaller parts. For instance, if you plan on running 2,020 miles in 2020, break it down into manageable units - 168 miles each month, 38.84 miles per month or 5.51 miles per day.

Develop a plan to make a solid resolution and document your efforts. Be flexible and adjust your schedule when necessary. Focus on WEEKLY goals rather than DAILY goals. This will take the pressure off if you have to skip a day due to injury, illness or adverse weather conditions.
