The Marathon Expo, open to the public, will be held on September 27, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Gering Civic Center, 1050 M Street in Gering. Next door to the Expo will be the Pasta Feed for runners, their family and friends and live entertainment! I'll be speaking between 5:15 and 5:45 during the Pasta Feed. My topic will be "What motivates you?" - I'll tell my story of unruly weight gain and unhealthy vitals, and how I eventually went from 6 hour marathons to sub-3 hour marathons. As a native of the Nebraska panhandle, I'm excited to go back "home" again - hope to see you there!
